Until Stauer came along, you needed an inheritance to buy a Swiss-made timepiece with class and refinement. That has suddenly changed. Our Bodega Chronograph brings the impeccable quality and engineering once found only in the collections of the idle rich. The tonneau shaped case, fused in 18k gold, features exaggerated Art Deco-inspired numerals, reflecting the whimsy the 1920’s is known for. After the end of World War I, with prosperity on the horizon, people were ready to sport their fashions. Watchmakers were not left behind — fresh, unique ideas surfaced and we saw the introduction of wristwatches with cushion, tonneau and large curved hinged cases. Exaggerated numerals were used and there was no limit to the shapes and designs. This elegant chronograph features a seconds dial, a thirty-minute dial and a date window. Built by master craftsmen with state-of-the-art equipment, this piece was made right down the street from the world’s premier high-end watchmaker. The Bodega Chronograph is built for people who have their own good taste and understand the value of their dollar. This watch is a limited edition and takes 6 months to build so please act quickly. Our last 2 limited edition watches are totally sold out.
